Processed Food

Daryl’s FIT TIP of The Day: 
Long-term exposure to the additives in processed foods– including glucose, sodium, and fat solvents– is associated with weakening of the intestine’s resistance to bacteria and toxins. This weakening can contribute to the development of autoimmune diseases, such as type I and II diabetes, celiac disease, lupus and multiple sclerosis.
This does not prove cause and effect, but you should consider eliminating processed foods from your diet, especially if you have an autoimmune disease or a family history of one.
