Super Charged Salad

Daryl’s FIT TIP of the Day: 
Here is one of my favorite salads. Every now and again I will know when my body needs a break from high protein intake. So what I will do is have a nutrient dense salad to produce a cleansing effect to help remove the mucous buildup that occurs with eatings lots of animal proteins. I will eat this salad for lunch for 5 days. No protein is to be consumed with this salad. I continue to eat protein during the other meals throughout the day, but more eggs, fish, nuts, than meat. I return to meat after the 5 days.
Here is what my super charged salad consists of:
Raw: Kale, Spinach, red/yellow/green peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, beets, brussel sprouts, carrots, purple cabbage, onion, garlic
Steamed: mushrooms and asparagus (never eat these raw).
Chop up all ingredients, mix in a big bowl and that’s it. Scoop out a handful size and consume. Add oil and vinegar, lemon, tumeric, and ginger as a dressing to add more flavor and to boost antioxidant value.
This is a great cleansing salad and will make you feel great because of all the incredible nutrients. Don’t mix any other protein to this salad. The ENERGY you will get from this salad is awesome, and you will also be amazed at how your waist line shrinks. Nutrient dense foods make the intestines work harder and that helps burn more calories.
