The cancer rate is increasing dramatically. In fact, it is estimated that 1 out of every 3 people will develop cancer sometime in their life time. There is a strong correlation between our food supply and cancer. Ever since the production of processed foods, preservatives, synthetic hormones, additives, chemicals, genetic bioengineering, cross hybriding of the countries food supply, cancer has been on the rise. Unfortunately, the rate is rapidly increasing. The problem is that even if you eat all organic foods now you aren’t entirely immune to cancer. It has been discovered that eating toxic food earlier in life can contribute to cancer later in life. So if you were a junk food junkie as a kid or young adult and then changed over to eating healthy and living healthy, you might have bought some time and reduced the onset of cancer, but the toxic chemicals could be in the system and are repressed as long as the immune system stays on top of it. But once the immune system becomes compromised the cancer could take over.
I feel (and this is only my opinion) that colon cancer, rectal cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, are all related to chemicals in our food. I realize that there are hereditary factors that contribute to the onset of cancer, but I really believe that the chemicals in our food play a major role in the development of cancer in the body. In my book “diet EARTH” I have a list of cancer producing agents that are in our food. It is unbelievable what is in our food, and most people aren’t even aware of it. Even if you eat perfect you are still not gauranteed of not developing cancer, there are too many environmental factors to consider.
