The Kettle Bell Swing

Here is a great exercise for warming up the body before your regular workout.  It incorporates a variety of muscles and works every joint in the body.  Start by getting into a squat position, keeping the back neutral, hold the kettle bell slightly off the floor. Now thrust the kettle bell up in an explosive motion. Thrust the hips forward, contracting the glutes (butt) tight.  Use a heavy kettle bell to really challenge yourself.  Keep in mind that this exercise is designed to be fast and explosive.
