Motivation

When it comes to changing the body composition of the human body there is one thing that can’t be taught and you can’t buy it, that is motivation. The desire to work hard and to stay committed to an exercise schedule is not an easy thing to do. It takes a highly driven individual to succeed in achieving greater fitness. There are both intrinsic and extrinsic factors that play a role in the discipline of an individual. What motivates a person to exercise on a regular basis varies from person to person. As a gym owner, I have noticed people come and go. Many people will realize that the commitment to staying fit is hard work and will quit within the first month of signing up.  No matter how much attention I give these people, or how much education I give them, they just don’t have the inner strength to make it.

Motivation is something that can’t be taught, you either have it or you don’t. The unfortunate thing is that Americans are becoming less and less motivated. The more we depend on technology and conveniences of life the more we become less disciplined to hard work. The majority of America is becoming soft,  lazy, and undisciplined. People are lacking motivation.
